Hello Jon, "Jon brings a huge amount of enthusiasm and commitment
to his work, offering young people paths up in sport and also being
fully aware of the instrumental benefits that come from it -
including improved mental and physical health, greater
teamwork and improved chances in education." Best wishes, Andrew.

 To whom it may concern

 Re Jon Gildersleeve

I have known Jon for 2.5 years through Romford FC and have worked closely with him on obtaining grants for various projects run by Romford FC.

Jon is very good with ideas and has the capacity to follow these ideas through to fruition. He is very youth oriented and all of the projects he has dealt with have been for the ultimate benefit to children under 18.

Through Jon’s contacts we have been able to set up Soccer Schools for deaf/hearing impaired children and Special Needs children as well as mainstream Soccer Schools.

Without Jon’s input and ability to know where to go for funding it is unlikely that these projects would have seen the light of day.

Jon is more than able to put projects together, co ordinate all those involved and produce the finished article. He was also more or less solely responsible for pushing through the necessary work for Romford FC to obtain Adult Charter Standard status with the FA. He also obtained Charter Standard status for the U16s team and Holiday Soccer Schools.

 Yours faithfully

Malcolm Pond

Hi Jon

It is nice to know you are keeping up the good work in helping the community and football for the up and coming.
I am grateful for your help when I was at Romford. As you may well know I am at Loughborough Uni in my penultimate year of a 4 year stint.
I am on vacation until end of September and am busy trying to organise a marathon soccer match at the Uni in October. Best wishes Ricardo Braganza
